According to doctor Carlyn Rosenblum MS, RD, "The first reason is that it can both disturb and increase the hormone cortisol. Excess cortisol hormone can interfere with the process of ovulation, body weight, to hormonal balance," explained Doctor Rosenblum.

The cortisol hormone itself is a hormone that functions to control stress. And provide energy by using glucose and fat in the body's metabolism.


2. Intestinal Health Problems

"Drinking coffee after waking up can trigger intestinal health problems," said Doctor Rosenblum. Although he explained that several studies were still ambiguous about the effects of coffee on intestinal health.
